Composed of flat filament silk and fine gilt wire twisted together. Gilt wire is composed of 1/2% gold on a silver plated copper core. Filament silk is an untwisted, flat silk. The glint of the gilt is discrete but lovely. This is the thread being used in the Plimouth Plantation Embroidery Project. 35 meter spool. "Graie-Blewe" is a medium gray blue.
