(by Ecole Lesage) This incredible package includes a small booklet detailing the history of Lesage as well as the flowers used by various haute couture designers over the years. Various stitch instructions take up the last 10 pages of the 31 page booklet. Then there are 40 full-color 5 1/2" x 8" cards each with a flower and it's "meaning". On the back of each card are instructions for reproducing the flowers. Also included are tissue pages to enable you to trace each flower to embroider. Mostly designed for embroidery in ribbon, the designs could be embroidered with just about any fiber. Entirely in French, this is worth buying a French dictionary for! Boxed Set, 6 1/4" x 8 1/4"
